But when I just want to relax and enjoy a bit of story, or some conversations, or maybe some relaxing exploration, Fallout 4’s got nothing for me, it seems. So in that sense, I really enjoy the combat gameplay.

I love getting stuck on a particularly hard situation, and instead of leaving and coming back later when I’ve leveled up, I get obsessed over taking the enemies down and use Power Armor, and mines and grenades, and Fatman, and every other weapon in my disposal at that moment to try to take out the enemies, even ones with Skulls next to their name (meaning they are over 10 levels above me). But since it isn’t, Bloodborne is an easy elimination.įallout 4, while I am enjoying a lot, lacks some change of pace. So this would be a really tough question if the choice had been Demon’s Souls, not Bloodborne. They added this almost cartoonish animations for slashing and blood flying everywhere that made it feel ridiculous, and the mood and atmosphere was weird, and none of it clicked with me. I loved Demon’s Souls, but like Dark Souls 1 & 2 a little bit less, and had trouble making progress through them.
